On time, on budget, and great service.
We had a tree fall on our home and needed someone to very quickly to address the holes in the roof and the broken window. We called Stephen after talking to a friend who had use his services before. Awesome! He came over looked at the job gave us a printed estimate and the repairs were done super quick.
At the same time, we had decided to go ahead and do some remodeling / redecorating. During planning, we had Dawn (DSM Design) come over and give us some ideas. The reason we had not done the painting and tile was because we could not agree!
Dawn mediated and found a palate and tile combination we both loved. All work was scheduled and
completed on time and for the expected cost.
Since we met Steven, we have recommended him to many neighbors and had him back to do more
projects.
When we want more decorative advise, we will not hesitate to call on Dawn, her style and talents blended
very well with our needs.
I am so glad to have worked with Dawn and her team at DSM Design Studio to transform my home into a place that I love. The process was a lot more involved that I thought it would be and Dawn did a great job of helping me through it. She is uniquely creative and organized at the same time. Dawn is the best!
Dawn is a wonderful decorator! She and I went through my whole house together and discussed which
changes I’d like made as well as my timeline. She has such an eye for detail. We decided to revamp the
kitchen first and replaced countertops, backsplash, cooktop & range, paint, lighting and smaller details. Oh my goodness… the finished product is so beautiful and it came together in a way that would never have happened without her help. I have received several compliments. We also updated the den and study by rearranging my existing furniture and artwork and buying just a few items. I love it! I plan to work with Dawn again to update additional rooms. With her help, I have saved so much money because we buy exactly the right item the first time. She’s professional, is willing to work within any budget, and is fun to work with. It was like having a girlfriend come over and help me with my house.

I have worked with DSM Design Studios twice now. The first time was when I needed help finishing up my condo. Dawn helped me organize my ideas and introduced new ones that I would not have come up with by myself. One of the simplest things that she did was also one of the most impressive – rearranging my living room furniture against the floor plan if you will. It completely opened up the space and made the bottom level of my condo seem much more expansive. Dawn worked quickly and stayed on budget. I love the finished results.
My second experience involved the construction side when I needed some repairs after my upstairs neighbor flooded my unit. Dawn and Steven recommended that I wait at least a month to start the work because water damage taks time to reveal itself. They were right. The repairs were completed quickly and to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend DSM Design for any of your home design and/or construction needs and I would definitely work with them in the future.
I was in search of a design company to bring my house to life. I have a contemporary yet minimalist flair and wanted a company to match my taste in design. I found DSM on the internet and from the look and feel of their site, I had a sense that they would be a great start in my search to find an interior designer. From my initial contact with Dawn, she was always detailed, up front with costs, and attentive to my vision. She took the time to educate me during the design process, which I appreciated. I was involved in all aspects of the design and the finished product is amazing. The before and after pictures of my home are remarkable and I love it every time I walk through the doors. I first worked with DSM on redesigning the furniture for the interior my home. Dawn understood my style immediately. Everything she suggested and picked out was better than I could have imagined. We were just about to completely refurnish our home when life got in the way and a family illness derailed our plans. We needed to sell our house quickly, so Dawn, Steven and their team came in and made our house look like a show piece like on HGTV! They were able to completely transform our home using most of our old furniture, including things we had since college. They achieved the impossible and did it in record time!
Once the dust settled, DSM came in and completely transformed our home with all new furniture. The house is now truly a home. Dawn’s eye for detail and her true understanding of her client’s style is what makes the difference.

DSM completely redesigned our kitchen into the heart of the home. All the while, saving us money with creative ideas.
